Cough cough, blasted hoover hoses - replacement options?
Discussion
For the second time the air hose from my LHS air filter has sprung a leak...

Are there any other upgrade options apart from the hard-pipe kit? Anyone found any tougher hosing that'll fit? Will duct-tape do for now?
Alternatively - is this the right time to move the filters to the bulkhead?
...also, there's a little oil coming out of the split; is this a sign that I need to get my hands dirty and clean out the catch-bottle-thingy? Is that an easy DIY job (for someone one-spanner-short-of-a-toolbox?)?
Cheers, Dave

I have NOT tried this, but anticipate a similar need in the future and have been thinking something like this might be suitable. But do check the details, spec, bore ID options, etc.. (think may be a bit larger than needed).

Tape it up and get yourself a ProAlloy oil breather.
I'll probably do this for now... I see South West Lotus Centre do a cleanable one too, albeit a bit pricy.Do they come with plumbing guides? There are more hoses connected to the standard one IIRC.

Cheers. Bit of googling has turned up a few options, but if anyone has any recommendations/avoids it'd be handy? These look nice - http://www.actproducts.co.uk/shop/bhkn01-noble-m40...
...and presumably don't have the (apparent) issue of hard pipes that are too straight!

Thanks, Dave
