£55 to enter
you must be a paid up member of seloc (so another 30 ish but you get loads of discounts with it including a years rma membership for £50 so it is a bargain really)

If we can get 5 cars we can have our own class which will mean any M400 owners will be able to go home with a trophy

Come one

This is the next best thing to doing proper racing.

Factory - fancy sending someone along with Lee's race m400 to turn some lotus heads? A good market for people wishing to move up from elisesexiges.

It's ok Just - you have an excuse

Be nice if we can have our own class or we'll be lumped in with andrew walsh and his new toy - 2.4 RST v8 engined elise with a quaife sequential box, last time I spoke to him they were expecting 450-500 bhp at their safe lower rev limit

Yes, nice one indeed Nathan! Did I note a fluttering against the rev limiter towards the end there?!

PS - next time camera a lttle lower please (I was bending down to see out of your window! LOL)

Yes martin, but I was much quicker this time round (1:18.03 compared to about 1:22 IIRC), Nitrons and 048R's are awesome. Walshy went out in my car and did a 1:14.9 just to prove a point though

I'll sort out the camera or get rid of the rear view mirror next time

Wasn't the rev limiter, I've never hit that

Is that a tacit admission to hitting a cone?

I even managed to avoid those

My car also survived the whole day including letting the welsh man at it, only problem is a headlight bulb out, strange as I broke an indicator buld there last time I did a 1st lotus day.

Are you entering the next one Dan?

Just because you want someone to be slower than you?

Here are the results. You may need to be registered on seloc.

http://forums.seloc.org/docs/SELOC_sprint_Results_20050213.pdf

The evo turned in a very nice result beating the noble, althought that could just be driving talent. Walshy beat the Evo in Nathans car by 2 secs, which is about what the Evo beat Nathan by when he was driving.

Which class were the Honda Elises in? In fact what were the classes?

Honda elises in class c, I was beaten by 2 caterhams, the Michael Kaine (TVR le mans driver) Exige s2 and that pesky Evo, came fifth overall. I was really struggling to get down the power on the greasy, bumpy surface, walshy's Noble time was only 1.2 seconds quicker than the Evo!

Nice going. Guessing 'Elise S2' in group C was a honda too?

Good to see the noble beating the honda on a fairly short+twisty course once it has more track orientated dampers on it
