Morning Folks,

Got home from work around 1:10 in the morning this morning, went in the house had something to eat then heard my alarm going off, went outside and found my passenger window smashed and a scratch in my door. Nothing stolen but really what is it with people, Just seems to me you can't have anything nice anymore...

Sorry to hear this, I also haven't heard of any malicious damage done to any Noble. Was there anything on display inside the car to attract the miscreant?!

A curse on him and may the pistons of his Ford Capri 2.8 seize at 100mph, in the wet, on the motorway (naturally, at 3am when no other motorists are present and with just Armco for company)! ;-(

Thanks guys,

Nothing on display in the car, Police have told me a lot of gangs of teenagers have been wandering about, I live in a really quiet area and never had any trouble before just unfortunate.

I know what you mean, and I'm really sorry to hear your news - not what you want to come home from work to. Had my TVR keyed a few weeks back, and just found a boot-print on a cracked front headlamp cover.

On the plus side it'll be a £50 excess glass claim that won't effect your NCD.

Sorry to hear it

Shame these people so seldom get caught - its no wonder they keep doing it having realised the odds of being brought to justice are so slim.

Call me cynical, but even if they did catch the sods they'd probably get nothing more than a slap on the wrist and a free day out at the "rally driving experience" to socialise them properly with cars...

Be more fun if the victims could go to their house with a sledgehammer and cause similar damage to their property

Very sorry to hear that, obviously a mindless idiot as most people seem to respect the car. Hope you get it sorted out OK!

You mentioned the Police so I assume it happened during the day. The Police stations near me shut at night, so had to be You see it's a well known fact that most crime happens during the day

That said, had you then jumped in your car and driven at 120 down your road you probably would have found the Police within the first mile, you criminal you!!

Really sorry to hear about this Dave!
I share the sentiments of most others on this and hope someone gives them a taste of their own medicine!!
I've always said that I would rather have a car taken from me and never seen again than have some mindless b*****d deface it for me! May sound a little dramatic but there's not much that leaves more of a sour taste than little s***s with nothing better to do with their time!
My mothers MGTF was broken into 2 days before x-mas and had her Hard Top lifted and on Thursday had her window smashed with a stone whilst parked up in the City Centre!
In my opinion the law just isn't tough enough if and when the little blighters are caught. It wasn't that long ago that your friendly copper could catch the little buggers and clip them round the ear!! (Or so my grandmother tells me!!)

Hope you get it sorted real quickly. I presume you have a garage?? If not get Bob round to bulid one sharpish!!

Sorry to hear about your misfortune.

Heres hoping they have something of value on their own drives in yrs to come and it gets damaged by some moron....second thoughts, they wont have anything of value on their drives....unless they've knicked it.

Mindless pr**ks....bring on zero tolerance for the yob culture.

On a lighter note, Mole Valley's a bit light on Nobles....good sign for residuals maybe?
