Looks like that's just a listing of the files available here...

http://topgear.breedbandportal.kpn.com/

Sorry - forgot about that one - opps! Unfortunatly without a lot of faffing around you can't download/save the clips as they are streamed to your PC, hence when you said you wanted to download stuff I didn't think about this.

You'll find all the other stuff there that isn't on the site you found.

I'm also amazed it's still there, KPN announced they were going to close their "Breedband" (broadband in Dutch ) portal from the 1st Jan. You'd better hurry up and watch what you want before they pull it!

Thanks, again. The breedband site is awesome. Loved the Car of the Year feature and Clarkson seemed to like it a bit, a lot in fact.

All this looking for video and info on the Noble is due to the fact that I am saving up for one but having sold my elise a few months back I now have enough cash to but a Crebey, tuscan, elise, Esprit etc, but am still £15k+ short of whats required for an 3R. I am getting a twitchy right foot and being tempted in spending my cash on something else.

Need to see more video and press stuff to keep focused on my goal.

I quite liked it in Burgandy, unusual for me. Guess its quite a rare colour.

Whats your budget? Could get a GTO3 for mid 30s, or do you really want the new front lights, and sound deadening/weight ( ).

Personally wouldn't get a TVR at the moment, I think there's a lot of uncertainty with regards to the marque at the moment. Esprit Sport 350 is nice though

Do not buy a TVR. I have had three of them, they fell to bits. I got lawyers involved twice.

I don't have to say anymore than that.

I would be more than happy with a GTO3 but it seems that the 3R's are going for only around 5K extra. I think I do prefer the lights, diff, 6 speed box etc enough to save for 2 or 3 extra months.

There are not really that many considerable alternatives to a Noble IMHO.

I guess I am best waiting and saving. I have about 20-25k right now and it may take me 6 months+ to save up another 10-15k but I guess you Noble owners will all tell me that it will be worth the wait.

My aim is to make Le Mans in a 3R but I think my first real outing is more likely to be the October Noble day.

Can't wait.............

Greg,

Note that many GTO3s (mine included) have 6-speed and diff fitted - I just didn't want the tarty leather interior.....!

As a 2.5 man, I admit i'm a bit biased but...compared to almost everything else on the road, they're all bloody fast, and they all corner fantastically. The difference is in the details. They've been honed and refined as the models have gone on. If you can't wait to get the remainder of the cash together, get a sorted 2.5. They're still awesome! I did a similar thing myself, I just couldn't wait!!

P.S. I'll be running mine down to Le Mans again this year, we'll probably have a little nobility get together, whatever you get, come over for a spot of !!

Yep if you can find a good GTO3 you can get all the upgrades. I've got 6spd, diff, trackday sump, upgraded brakes, upgraded pedals, forward mounted intakes, oil temp+pressure gauge & etc. Granted not many people are quite keen enough to have continuously bought the upgrades as they came out, fortunately I knew one though and picked up his car

The added bonus is that they weigh less than 3Rs...

Still I know what you mean, I was slightly tempted to hold out for a 3R for the lights and alloys. Doubt I'd have found one as well spec'd as my 3 though.

I am sure as the time comes closer, I will be unable to wait and will go for the GTO3, but maybe in 4-6 months there will be a few more well pricer R's on the market. Guess I will have to wait and see. Trying not to get too excited just yet as 6 months will seem like an eternity if I do.

May even find it cheaper to wait till next Sept or Oct as the prices seem to lower in the winter months. I found I had to wait another 6 months to sell my Elise as I could not get what I wanted in the winter, paid off though.

Would be awesome to have another Noble owner to meet up with at Le Mans, but I doubt if I will have one then. Plus I take delivery of a new 2005 Chrysler Voyager (very handy for work-don't ask) in a week and my 5 other Le Mans buddies all think that we should go in that!!! Can't think why, something to do with the DVD and PS2 I think!!
