One of the downsides of airfield days. Did you drive home like that?

Nathan

Only spare is tyre weld, so yes, but took it very steady.

Obes, was at Elvington.

New tyres on order, dare not take it on the road now so will have to source locally.

Great day though, and really pushe hard. Getting used to her now.

Elvington is very abrasive, but I suspect their may have been a degree of too much right foot involved if they were legal when you turned up

Hi Dan

Totally legal honest

To be honest, we new it was close when we arrived but thought they would make it through the day, we had to leave an hour early when we spotted the canvas peeking at us

Not too much right foot this time though, learned a lot about driving her and now feel a lot more confident.

Blimey, if I had the room I'd take a spare set!

Nice colour choice though! What is that colour???

Tell me that's not an Opel Manta about to overtake you??

Martin

If you look closely enough, you will see a spec of dirt just above the tyre on the wheel arch.

Can you see the problem now?

Now I see! Silly me, I thought you meant there was a problem with the tyres.

Martin.

Actually Martin

Thinking of upgrading to Pirelli, want to make an offer for these well looked after, part worn Bridgestones?

And, do you have any advice for removeing the spec of dirt?

Yes, the only way is to do a 180 degree spin at the end of a 20 foot slide.

Works every time for me...

It's about time some enterprising chap from Micheldever or wherever came along with some tyres. I guess if they brought S03's and Corsa's that would cater for most people.

Sure to do a reasonable trade with 60 Nobles on site.

Bookatrack do this already.

Turn up waste your old tyres and get a new set put on for the trip home pretty good prices as well.

I hope so coz I think I'll be doing well if mine last till the end of the day.

Martin.

PS - I've been driving very conservatively in an effort to get me to first service. (NO, not that one, the 6k one!)
