PRESS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE PUBLICATION
DATE: FEBRUARY 3RD, 2005

NOBLE APPOINTS BTCC SPECIALIST AS SOUTHERN SERVICE CENTRE

West Tuning of Thruxton has become the latest addition to Noble Automotive’s growing service centre network, catering for Noble owners in Southern England and the West Country.

For the last 17 years, West Tuning, under proprietor Ray West, has run cars in BTCC, Mod Saloons and GT Cars, gaining valuable knowledge of a variety of high-performance road cars along the way. Ray’s business also develops tuning packages for other engine modifiers, with chip tuning being a particular speciality.

West’s premises – based in the grounds of Thruxton Race Circuit itself – have full EODB and rolling-road facilities.

Charles Eyston from Mole Valley in Chessington, Noble’s longest serving dealer, said: “We welcome West Tuning as a Noble service centre. Its position mid-way between ourselves and Newtown Motors (Noble’s Welsh dealer) will be helpful to Noble customers in Hampshire and Wiltshire.”

West Tuning’s details are shown below.

Yipppeeeeeee!!!!!!

As you can tell I'm a fan of Ray West

He has already serviced my M12 once and he will be servicing it very soon again as well as my Golf. He is very thorough and does the job properly. He also works wonders with 911 turbo's and the like - he also produces the fastest mini around 260 BHP plus I believe - it was in Evo at some point.

Hmmm.
A drive across Salisbury Plain could be in order.

Now all they've got to do is to arrange to include a dozen or so laps of the track in the servicing 'menu'. Can't find any other way onto Thruxton at the moment, other than in one of the circuit cars, but would love to try it.
