I had a thought when ordering a number plate recently - Fancyplates have a "TVR backlit" number plate and I got to thiking about using one of these on the noble and re-routing the existing lamp to behind the plate for a neater effect - there's plenty of access/space behind the Noble number plate so it should be a simple project but I;d need to look at the TVR lamp setup first - any thoughts?

Only concern is that it will make the plate harder to remove for track days.

Not really Dan, all it is is a normal plate with see- through areas where the characters are - the plate and the rear lighting would remain separate so you
d remove it the same way as now.

What colour do you think you'd go for....red or blue neon???

Would you have them under the sills as well....would look sick!!

And you're saying that (the TVR rear number plate backlight arrangement) looked "sick" - I'm asking as I'm thinking about this mod and am unclear as to whether you're saying it's rubbish?!

Well the blue or red neon was, I admit, taking the piss just a little.. but if you look back over past threads I think you will find that 'sick' is youth speak for cool, great, fit etc, whatever takes you fancy.

Would be interested in seeing pics if you get it done.
