Last weekend I was out and about in the Noble when travelling back only minutes away from home a police car pulled me over at a junction for no reason. Now I'm then starting to question my driving in the last mile or so thinking did I do something wrong?' The PC came up to me and said "You haven't done anything wrong sir just need to know your name and address as 3 Nobles were stolen from a garage recently and we need to do a check on your car".

Now he means the cars stolen from the factory and the West Mids and Warwickshire Police have been informed about this and are stopping any Noble to check it out. Plus I had a baseball cap on so I must have looked dodgy too.

A bit of a relief though, and it was probably convenient being stuck in traffic otherwise I could of had a ticket for speeding as well as being checked. Let it be known the Police are now more interested in these cars now since the robbery and the name Noble is now a little more popular with the boys in blue.

Aha - that might explain why so much interest was given to me by 3 seperate police cars over the weekend in the North West.

mmmm..... better keep the speed down for a bit.

Glad to hear this Tony - I expect that the BiB like an excuse to pull-over the odd Nobility! I'll post this on the Bib page...

Ditto - the chaps in the patrol car near Cambridge on Saturday had a very good look at the M400, rubber necking to check the front plate as they cruised past me at 70. More than just curiousity methinks.

Had my cap on at the side which kind of went with the window cleaning ladder I had strapped to my roof! Mister Grimsdale!

I suggest you use the factory-supplied ski/ladder rack on the boot lid. Though it puts the ladders at 90° to the car, the turning circle is specially wide to compensate!
