That is strange as obviously there are far fewer Nobles on the roads than most of the other marques. It must be that due to their scarceness the owners like to chat more. Also that the owners are very clever people who are good at reading and writing and selecting cars that are amazing VFM!

What am I doing on here then................sorry I'll get me coat.

I wonder how many of the posters on this Noble forum actually own one, and how many just love them.

You missed TVR in your list.

I guess posts are high in the TVR section because so many are having problems !

I'd say at least 50 / 50, if not more owners.

What an amazing revelation Paul - a small car company with around 5 years of trading is talked about almost as much as a brand name multinational with (relative) gazillions of units sold/marketing lira (euros) and with over 75 years if trading experience!

GREAT NEWS FOR THE BRITISH TEA INDUSTRY! :-)

It must be because when you google for Noble you get several links to PH. There's also the fact that despite the much appreciated efforts of the long standing nobility, PH is the only really used UK 'owners club' forum.

I think you'd find that TVR blows Noble out of the water when it comes to the number of posts.

I do not own one and I wouldn't regard myself as a poser. I am in a very seasonable business and I saw my first Noble in the US in November. As I make 90% of my $$ from May-Oct I simply can't own one yet. I will assure you that when mine arrives I will know more about my Noble than any new Noble owner ever has. I'm not posing I'm practicing!

I suggest that's a given.

These figures mirror feedback from the showrooms - we are finding that more and more potential buyers of performance/sports cars are taking Noble very seriously.

I think this website was around before Noble as a car company existed or almost anyway...

Not bumping, just saying. I frequent several forums on PH and "TVR General gassing" is by far the busiest. Noble has certainly picked-up enormously in the past 12 months, which is nice. As someone here said, the TVR forums tend to have a higher concentration of "now what's happened?" and "how do I fix it?" posts...

I may be wrong here, but didn't Ted create PH purely as a TVR enthusiasts forum, with only that marque being catered for originally?

Also, there must be, what, 30,000 TVRs out there, compared to around 600 Nobles.

Yep Simon,

In essence that's correct - PetrolHeads as it was, originally did cater for all things Trevor.

Yep, was focused on TVR initially to form the basis of the site with the goal being a general sports/performance site.
