Just picked my 3R up after its 6K service. Total cost was £536.

The car feels great and the dealer has ran through the very small snag list and sorted everything with ease

I also got the Nautilus Twin Tone Air Horn fitted - what a big difference !
Two new Osram Silver Star H7 bulbs fitted - I can now see down the lanes in the dark
And finally I have had the numberplate installed on the bonnet. I must say I am very surprised how much better it now looks.

Overall I'm very pleased. Bring on the track day !

That's a good price, MV, my "down-sarf" dealer, has quoted me £700 (incl. VAT) for the 6K service - they say that's the factory quoted RRP!

Although your number plate may look great, good luck with the BiB as, I believe, you'll be comitting an offence mate!

Like the sound of the bulbs - was the cost of the bulbs (supply and fit) included in the £536?

I know about the number plate mate. Hopefully won't get too much problem. I'm gonna play the dumb trick since a lot of the factory cars have the plates like that !

That price was including everything.

A very good price - I may think about shopping around for my service then - was this a main dealer?!

Dear All,
I asked Graham yesterday and for those of you out of warranty Plans are currently quoting £450 for a 6K service and I think that includes the oil.
Regards

Even for those in warrenty, Noble cannot force you to use their dealers, as long as the work is of the same standard and the correct parts are used you won't invalidate your warrety by going elsewhere.

I can recommend Plans' work, very high quality and good with updates eg digital photo's during the work being emailed along with info on what is happening.

Nathan, do you know whether they offer a loan car?

Just had my 18k mile service carried out by the factory - the second time I have been there - cost me just over £700 including a new horn! I was really pleased with the quality of service last time, and the car came back running perfectly - but it did seem expensive compared to the first 6k service at Nick Whale.

Second time back to them and the car is running so sweetly now - had a few minor problems when it went in - I now gladly pay that bit extra. It gives me so much confidence knowing it has been back to the place that builds them!

In addition I am sure they put in a new engine mapping, and my fuel economy has risen from the previous 160miles per tank (or fill up) to 205/210 miles - and that will soon pay for the additional service costs!

Can't recommend the factory highly enough - thanks Bob!

Do you notice it being easier to pull away as well (like there's more low down torque)?

It has always been great low down in the revs - but yes I do think it is improved - it feels much smoother in higher gears at low rpm - 6th gear at 1000rpm going round a round about - it is hard not to be impressed but this engine!
