Just got back from Kerridges having bought their Azure blue 3R. I can't put into words how overjoyed I am. Most expensive purchase of my life (other than a house) which is making me a little nervous and to top it off I go snowboarding for 2 weeks in Canada next weekend so will not be picking it up till Easter Monday! Still, what better to look forward to.

I would like to say thanks to you all for all the helpful advice over the last few months. Steve kerridge said he thought it strange how few questions I had asked, but I told him that all you lot had already answered them!

Is Mr Paul Wisbey a member on here as he is the previous owner. Would be good to chat about it.

Exceptional taste; exactly the same as mine! Azure from Kerridges. Hope you love it when you get to pick it up.

Thanks guys, what a great family. Is there a Noble owners club or is this really it. Do you think some one should make it a little more official? I would love to do it, or at least lend a hand.

Firstly allow me to say great name and to welcome you to the Nobility! :-)

Regarding an owner's club sure there isn't one
separate Noble club but what do you think is missing right now?

Currently we have:

- This excellent PistonHeads Noble forum for instant access and reaction regarding all things serious and myrthful concerning the Noble marque.

- A decent Noble factory web site - www.noblecars.com

- A private Noble only discussion forum arranged/hosted by a member - Joust (warning: this forum does include members from factory and dealers though!) - will provide link outside if you like!

- A growing US discussion forum (you can find the link on a recent thread here).

- A couple of UK Nobility with their own useful and comprehensive sites: www.gto3.com plus another that escapes me?!).

- Direct access to the factory.

Sure all of the above bundled into one would be great but in real life this never happens - the current setup works fine for me! :-)

I agree totally guys, I think its fantastic that we have this dedicated forum and I think both the guys web pages are brilliant! It is really nice to have these resources at hand and yes I would love to be included in the "other" forum if thats ok? The US forum is great too.

I was asking if there was anything "official" because 2 of the insurance companies I have spoken to asked if I was a member of the "official owners club" for "that" marque. I wondered if I had missed something. Guess I can answer yes then.

Gutted I will be away for the Noble day in March. Is anyone else going to the TVR day on the 16TH April at Snetterton?

I don't think Paul is a member, but you couldn't have bought from a better previious owner; Paul was fastidious about his cars and it was certainly very well looked after! Well done!

Interesting you mention this: when seeking quotes, I've been asked whether I'm a member of the "Noble factory owner's club" so I say yes (as I must be - I think the mean PH to be honest!). The insurers must has this (and/or the private forum) listed as a "club" - if so, so be it! :-)

Will post you the private link later...

Sorry you'll be missing the factory day - I'd cancel whatever else I was doing if I were you - when you see the photos you'll be gutted! :-) LOL

I am really gutted. Just been looking at your pics. The "inbound" sat are fantastic, good enough to be pics for a magazine. The 288GTO fezza must have been stunning to drive with.

I agree on the cancelling thing but I will be spending 10 days in Whistler snowboarding with 7 friends and a hot tub with the condo. Possibly one of the only things that could be worth missing the Noble day for! (or not?)

Hope your taking some photos of the day.

Owners club!

Just re-insured with Competition Car Insurance, (moved away from Tesco).

I've used them previously for caterham insurance, for slightly more than previous year's premium I now have 4 track days included.

They also asked about a Noble owners club, as usually being a member of one entitles you to a discount, which we can't currently get.

Might be worth starting one for savings on insurance?
