I handed the keys over today and no longer own a Noble. I've had a great 2 years (almost) and will miss it massively but the time was right to move on. I very much doubt I'll ever own a car that handles so well - unless I get tempted by an M400 in the future .I'll probably hang about and join in if that is ok, I can honestly say that almost every Noble owner is a proper petrol head, something I 100% cannot say about my chosen brand of new car

Highlights include a few sprints including one alongside Justin & Andy G, watching Lee Noble get his first race win, watching Paul getting stuck in to racing and smoking everything in my path Bedford

I'd like to thank the factory for being absolutely great, I won't mention the dealer I bought it from who don't care unless they can sell you a car Mentions for Vegantune & Plans Motorsport too - I can recommend both.

If you see a Silver Grey M3 CSL flashing you and waving it's either me saying hello or a fellow CSL owner complaining that you are in his motorway lane

A 4 seat car should not be this fast (0-150 faster than the Noble!), the noise is awesome too. Hope to see you all at Rockingham if Micknall will let me in

(only kidding)

So go on then, whats the 0-150 time? I'm surprised its quicker to be honest as whilst the noble may not have a wind tunnel derived a aero package, your new steed isn't exactly wedge shaped either!

Sorry to see you go Nathan - as tea-making legend dictates you must now break your ceremonial Noble dress sword in half and return it to Barwell hence removing you from true Nobility!

Nevertheless, even if you didnn't know more than most about the Noble marque I for one would insist that you continue to include yourself in the forum! :-)

And ya gonna change your PH monica to maybe "CSL-Nathan" and hang out at that scintilating BMW forum?! LOL :-)

Herr Nathan

I awoke this morning and as usual the first thing to hand was a 12" long.............Noble GTO 3R sales card that is all I have to stare at while waiting these agonising weeks to get my bonus and hense my 3R that Kerridges are so kindly looking after for me.

On that very same card (the red 3R on it), the "performance" figures are as follows:-

0-60 3.7secs
0-100 8.8secs
0-150 28.2secs

This sounds like a very accurate figure Nathan, are you suggesting that this literature is incorrect?

Nathan your firewall is now bouncing all emails. Was it the porn I attached? (not really, its just bouncing anything I send it seems - have you got it to filter the word noble now??!?!?)

Sorry Nathan, I forgot you were comparing the times with a 2.5L

So how long shall we give him before the M400 is on order, you guys place your bets and I will hold the book.

Mine isn't limited people have seen 185+ GPS readings

I'll always have a space in my dream garage for a Noble. I'll now be doing trackdays with a suit hung up in the rear window

Dan - there was a bug in a Bitdefender release used by GFI mail security - all emails have been getting bounced - try again

I must admit I almost bought one. I did the Rockingham CSL day and was mighty impressed. The gearbox on it's race setting was fantastic as was the noise and the blip on the downchange.

Tried to do a deal with my dealer but suprise surprise they wanted to give 5p for my X5 and £60K for the CSL.

They still have it!! Oh how I laugh now that CSL prices are in the high £30's.

Great car though, could still be tempted but not out of the Noble!!

CSL Nathan,
Seeing as you know more about the marque than all but a few of the owners I think it's your duty to stick around. We'd miss your good humour too.

Martin.

PS - I'm glad you had the good taste to call your car "Silver Grey" as opposed to Titaniboring
