OK..search isn't currently working so can you remind me which thread had the gauge info, or better still just remind me what the pricing was for the factory Oil Temp gauge versus the dual electronic ones that someone (sorry can't remember who) had fitted!

Thank you!

Thanks for that. The retro fit for the factory gauge is approx £430.00.

I think I'll not bother and allocate the money to the IC and BOV once they are available.

I quite agree, I popped into rouch today on my travells and think I will put the cash towards colour coding the door handles, new speakers and maybe some red calipers

From looking at the Demon Tweeks catalog it appears that the gauges in the M12 are the Smith's. Can anyone confirm this? I think I'll add the voltmeter as it seems to match.

I am also interested to know if anyone has replaced the standard tach with the tach that has the shiftlight?

Also does anyone have any experience with a tach that seems to be jumpy and stick at about 5000 RPMs? The engine is revving fine, the tach is just jerky.

I believe they are 52mm gauges from Caerbont, a subsidiary of Smiths and located in Swansea.

Note that these will not have the Noble logo - that'll cost a lot more!

Thanks for the information. Here is the history from their web site

"CAI is the oldest established automotive gauge maker in the world, and the UK's largest independent. We supply such prestige marques as Aston Martin, Rolls Royce and Lotus. CAI was formerly the SMITHS Instrument Company, which was the supplier of choice for the classic British Sports cars of the 50's 60's and 70's, such as MG, Triumph, Jaguar and the AC Cobra, our pedigree is impeccable. The products that you buy have been designed for and tested by the most discerning of customers."

I have an email into their technical group, but the website info makes it sound like the tach with 3 shift lights should be plug and play.

Dean, the Prosport F1 tacho fits perfect and works well but it's not a straight swop as far as the wiring goes, it has a differant plug and you need to join the wires . Also it has two mini switches to be fitted, one for setup and one for recall etc.
