And they weren't meant to get that far either Think it was a dealer that started the rot by parking their merc in the Noble exclusive area!

Nathan did take my out very briefly in the CSL. The gearchanges were very quick.

I bought my Noble for its exclusivity.

Bloody common now, think I will buy a CSL.

But surely you'd need to compare the CSL to the M400 run, otherwise we'll have to lob the M3, 330, and even the 318i compact into your figures

Sorry - we've got the Cundy special on our side

You just needed the forward mounted induction on your m12. Much more fun sounding!

I'd say the CSL is a threat to what the M14 will try to do. Noble would do well to try one. The fact that several Noble owners are switching to this car perhaps proves the point. I read into this switch that, after a period of ownership of an M12, a less track focused car, more everyday car, but with the same ethos, is required. I noticed there were 5 or 6 brand new looking CSL's parked up outside the track, which suggests to me that, contrary to popular belief 18 months ago, all CSL's were not snapped up.

Horses for courses I suppose.

I'm lucky in that I have a fleet of cars to meet each situation. Not every M12 owner will be in that position, and so, as the need for >2 seats, a boot or just a change in financial circumstances you'll find that people "churn" off the marque.

It must be said though that the churn rate off Noble seems to be low. In my telecoms, the industry have churn rates between brands of >20% and sometimes >30% - I am sure anyone in telecoms would kill to have Noble's 'churn' rate.

The M14 is a different offering, but I wonder how many people will have an M400 and M14, or probably more appropiate, an M14 and a Radical........

I've been to Rockingham once before on a CSL day before I bought the Noble. I think you'll find they are part of the BMW/Rockingham driving expereince....the SUPERCAR version of which now includes a Noble along with a Murcielago; if that's not praise enough I don't know what is???

I think the CSL is in the REP class

Forgot about paul's car - love the pops and bangs! you are right about including the 318's, you win I'm going to get mine rebadged 318ci

The CSLs at Rockingham are for the Driver training run there, they take you out in the morning on the road in your own car then let you loose in theirs round the track, the day was given with each car so anyone buying one secondhand should see if the day for their car has been used or not.

As for the churn rate - I want an M400 at some point so i haven't actually turned away from the marque and still think they are brilliant.

Er, I was only joking guys, I would never consider a CSL.

Now, where did I put that Lambo catalogue?

I will stay with my trusty steed, I have never had so much fun as this.

I can only think that my next step is the M400, but I don't think the difference in performance is enough, so I await new announcements from Lee to decide my next move.

Justin is correct, Noble I am sure will retain my loyalty
