Hi Guys,

Here are some pics of the car, including the Doors without the handels!!!

Looks great 16nex! I hate to ask the obvious, but how do you open the doors?

Theres a little push button just in the recess of the door leading to the rear vent!!

Does the dash not reflect badly in bright sunshine. My leather top bits certainly do and it can get in the way of your vision ?

Doors look great. Did you move the rear pipes to the centre? Is it a purpose built exhaust?

Bought the exhaust off someone here on Pistonheads, but I am changing it to the Vegantune one, I believe it was my exhaust he had on display at Rockingham!!

Just waiting on my wheels now so as soon as its all done I will post some more pics!!

Not conivinced about the dash (perhaps the pictures don't do it justice?) but it's certainly going to be unique.

Gave up trying to fit leather to the dash then?

The dash was done in grey Alcantara, but didn't turn out too well, so ended up painting it!! but it can be done!! its not cheap though your talking about 1k!!!!

What was wrong about it? I'm guessing with such a complex shape that fitting leather to it was a nightmare!

yeah there was a lot of stitching involved and some of it didn't bond very well to the dash so I decided to scrap the idea!!

Ash - you were asking about a good colour for viper stripes on a silver car. Check out the new special edition GT40 with silver stripes on tungsten paint (as per my suggestion )

Have another look at the photo mate - it is suble - you can hardly see the bleedin stripe!

And you coming into a conversation mentioning subtle - with that Marbella Tortilla Turquoise Tiger of a paint job as well! LOL
