Good move, Justin. I'm pretty happy with my quick release and different MOMO wheel too. Never did care for that slippery carbon fiber look and moving it 2" closer really makes it much more comfortable to drive.

J - Looks great. Is it same overall diameter? Looks smaller somehow, or maybe the rim is slightly thicker? Also is it just a straight swop, or do you have to change the doobrie (tech term) underneath? Horn conections match up? Finally, where from?
I think it's 5mm smaller diameter.
Straight fit.

I thought of this wheel which would look great, and I have a contact to produce the sticker for the middle horn push.
Its the MOMO Driver wheel, a little expensive around the £200 mark but the silver at the top matches the NOBLE dash perfectly.
I have already got one of these fitted to my other car and it feels alot more chunky to grip with compared with the NOBLE MOMO one which is alot thinner. Now I think the MOMO for the 3 and 3R is the TORNADO, and a FIGHTER for the M400.

I've fitted fitted the snap lock adapter on mine which extends the steering wheel position by just over an inch and now I'm wondering if I can improve on the wheel itself.
Do you really find it a better driving experience with the new wheel?

OK - I fitted it yesterday - piccies to follow.
I didn't need a "boss adaptor", as the Noble already has one on it.
I did buy the quick release kit, but that's coming off as now I can't reach the indicator stalk without moving my hand off the wheel.
I'm going to get a new "boss adaptor" made up/bought that is shorter by ~50% which will give the best of both worlds, but for the time being I'm going to take the quick release off and stick a smaller extension on.
The wheel is lovely, much better grip, beautifully made, and absolutly suits the car.

Did you get the Tekniq Snap-Off adapter or another variant?
With the Snap-Off there's a chunk of it that I didn't need to fit and I just used the thin Noble spacing-plate instead (but had to remove the grounding connector from it). The result is that it doesn't extend as much as I originally intended but fortunately for me it's sufficient.
Also, as you already know, you need the noble spacing plate if you're going to refit those wires to the red buttons on the std. M400 steering wheel.
I'll post some of my pics in the usual place (nobletv.co.uk) in a bit; without them nobody will have a clue what I'm talking about.

and a couple of these (All carbon fibre or carbon/kevlar and weight in at 2.5 kilos per seat)
In for testing, if anyone fancies offering their opinion.

There's a bespoke moulded to fit option, or a set of padded sections available if required. Having spent a fair bit of time in them they're surprisingly comfortable, due to the fact that their contoured rather than just flat they support in the right places.
Oh and the steering wheels really are a lovely bit of kit - trimmed in suede their very tactile and very light.
