Has anyone had any experience with Lambo door kits?

I wonder what an M12 would look like with them?

I posted pics of my doors after the handles were done, I will get some pics of the hinges and the doors open!!

The door kit has worked out around £1500 all in, including fitting!

Do they do kits for Nobles?

I know its a bit max power but I'm wondering of the benefits for getting in and out of the car in tight car parks.

I was thinking exactly the same thing. Max Power or not, there's a definite pratical advantage.

but doesnt it just result in the lower rear corner of the door occupying the space you are trying to get your body through? i.e the "hole" where the front of the window used to be.

Are there any sideways on shots?

I think there's a weight issue too, the mechanism is pretty heavy IIRC.

so might result in a satisfying "clunk" on closing the doors then ...looks pretty cool IMHO...but is the door shape such that it will close without having to reshape the entry and door?

They open outward a little first. The kit for the civic opens out 18 degrees and then lifts up on a gas strut. Look at the BMW MINI page from the menu on the left. That guy is going for it with the angle grinder !!

The weight of the doors shouldn't be a problem as the additional weight of the huge fog lamps and musical horn should balance it out.

Sorry but.... what the hell is the Saxo/106 on their web site all about HOLY MOTHER OF CHRIST

That has to be a top contender for 'shed of the week' surely

All a bit 'max power' for my liking but would be interested to see the finished result on a Noble. Hey, maybe they should be marketing these kits to elderly stairlift customers as a 'more comfortable way to get in and out of your Rover 25'

Dom.

I think the "Shed of the day" trophy should go to the Nissan 200ZX.

Well done that man. You have successfully spent the entire cost of a Diablo on your 200ZX and it still looks and is worth £1 and a packet of crisps!

I like the sign in the rear window: 'style and grace'. Oh, the wicked irony.
