My first weekend with the M400
Discussion
Fantastic but frustrating.
Have been overtaken by an M3
, Audi this that and the other. Also, a Ford Fiesta, not an XR2, I had to pull into the inside lane to let him past!
Oh, the joys of running a car in, not!
The car is gorgeous,
pics will follow, awaiting for the new camera batteries to charge.
Grip levels, even when running in, are unbelievable. Totally different from the M12(I thought I had reached the pinnacle, how wrong was I?). Now I know what all the M400 owners were talking about :-)
Gear change is slick and precise, can change using one finger rather than brute force now.
Anyway, 454 miles so far, should be ready for first service next week and then I can begin to gently open the throttle.
The attention the car gets is just unbelievable, people stop and take photos all the time!
Thanks for reading, couldn't keep it to myself.

Ash...rise above it...your car is FAR superior, so why should you demean yourself by recognising such inferior cars even exist?

Welcome to the real world
(My car is the first 3R to have this, plus a few other little titbits I'm not allowed to talk about

You should try driving over here where a Pug 206 with a WRC spoiler stops traffic!
Martin.
I tested a M400 but then someone said why not try the 3R they had for sale, so I did!!
I can tell you the 3R was gutless and had a very bad gear change and felt dull compared to the M400 that I had tried.
NO CONTEST!
But consider that the M400 was almost new with less than 2k miles (demo from a Noble dealer) and while the 3R s showed less than 3k (on the clocks) and I think was about 2 years old. If that car was ANYTHING like it should be then there is NO CONTEST. But I suspect the 3R was in need of some TLC.
Still I just HAD to HAVE the M400
I am sure Ash will love every drive.

It's funny how, in my "gutless 3R", I didn't get overtaken all day, and that includes Chris Harris.
Martin.
Because you can drive?
You tell me, Nathan... you had 4 or 5 laps in the car, can't quite remember what you said...
Martin.
