Dear All,
OK, so you want to deal with some of the heat issues under the rear clam. Try this

http://paulcundy.smugmug.com/gallery/359222/4/19976483

It involves a hacksaw blade, a Noble M12, approval from the owner, some aluminium sheets and 2 hours of your time.

Jack up the car remove the wheel. Remove the GF trim from the front of the rear wheel arch. Prize off the air ducts and the collector. Cut the scoop tunnel at 90' to the length axis so that the cut meets the outer panel just rearward of the scoop entry point to form a lip. cut aluminium sheet to form serpentine shaped channel that meets the exisitng aluminium engine bay side walls. Rivet together, cut out engine bay sidewall to suit channel, cut out recess in GF trim, srew in place with self tappers, refit, drive.

No and don't ask silly questions - it will invalidate your warranty.

The other thing it will do is DRAMATICALLY reduce the temp of that side of the engine bay.

I also think it makes the car look much more aggressive, these ducts could suck up unattended children.

Haven't done the other side yet because I need to bleed air to the turbo and AC but I'm sure we can do this.

Almost certainly would, but my reason for doing this is becasue I don't like the look of the M400 side pods, I wanted to try to improve the flow whithout needing to use them.

So Paul...who was holding on to the spoiler while they took a photo of flame coming out of your exhaust while seemingly driving at speed???

Thats the one. Loving the front too. Very different. Would like to see it up close and personal.

Is that the one that had the "incident" at the weekend?
