Finally, got my M12, only 6 days late. Service came to £1000 and apprently it's all perfect (hoping that the weird bump noise when decellerating and the whirr when I turn the wheel to full lock are all normal).
Hooray. I'm loving it. I'm off out again now. Later.

Hmmm, am running out of ceremonial swords (I think they're producing too many cars meself!) However, I have a cunning plan which is to recycle swords - ie: issue a "recall" on all those ex-Nobility who have not yet returned their swords!

Re the polish quip - but true, and I was thinking of polishing it again this week - NASA called me saying that they couldn't see it from space anymore and were worried!

Welcome to our club

The "bump" could be overrun excess fuel exploding in the silencer. Open the window and see if you can hear it (I thought I'd broken the diff once before I worked out what was going on).

Whirr and groans are normal on full lock, pretty much like any power steering system (my X5 being no different).

Mine, whirrs as the wheel rubbs on the arch on full lock.

Answer, don't put it on full lock. You get used to having the turning circle of a small ship.

Welcome along Sir. Good choice.

Rob, I still have not had my sword, but the Cambridge post is terrible.

It would seem that they are not alone. The Chineese sent up an Astronaut to make sure the Great Wall was visible from space....only to photograph your car on the M40 by mistake!!

Cheers all. Bumps and whirs accepted, then. Drove until midnight last night. Eyes were bleeding but it's feeling like a second skin already. Absolutely love it (and so do all the kids, pointing and squealing as I fly past).
Commission on it's way, Mort. I'll have a chat with next door.

your neighbours already been complaining about the noise ....he's asking the wife for a blank cheque to add another one to your street!

typical innit...at least my local car park is now devoid of the "extra" noble, and you've taken the car out of the shop window, so mine can go back to being "the only noble in the village"

it got me thinking though...you know, how for a car so rare, one seems to spot them all over the place, and then I realised that they are just driven that much more than the ferraris, AM's and lambos - testament to their reliability if ever it was needed!

Martin,
Don't you ever pine for a bit of refreshing rain, or some cool lush green grass under your feet, or just a bit of seasonality to break up the tedium of never ending heat, and dust, and sand, and dryness, and...and

...never mind, it was worth a try
