.....my computers. Just tried running the Rockingham Day CD (thanks, Simon)both on desk-top and laptop through Explorer, but both computers just hang when I click on a thumbnail. Anyone else had this problem or is it (more likely) me, my computers, my software?
Your post title got me worried for a moment there!
Mine seems to be reading fine (arrived this am, thanks Justin!).

Could have been worse - I could titled it '70 Nobles Crash....'!!
Are you just viewing through Explorer? Strange that mine won't run on either computer.
I'm can view then using file explorer (ie: click on My Computer), Paint Shop Pro, Windows Media Center photo viewer, etc. no problem! I assume you've tried opening the CD manually?
Rob.
Try copying a single file to your hard drive, ejecting the DVD, and then opening it.
If that works it points to some issue with your computer. If it won't copy the single file then it's probably a compatibility issue with the drive and the DVD that I wrote.
If so, let me know and I'll cut a DVD+RW rather than the DVD+R that you have and send it out to see if that works.
DVD+/-R/RW is a minefield of compatibility issues!

Thanks for the pics, they work just fine.
I think a big thank you and a pat on the back for all those involved in taking them and creating the DVD's, brilliant!!!
Personally, I think it's a stunning looking car, particularly in silver
, but even sprayed some odd shade too!!! How any one can say it looks awkward or ugly. Blind fools!!

This might help if you have problems reading the DVD. I did.

Basically it involved updating the firmware of my DVD drive. Mines is an NEC 2510. I managed to get a hold of a firmware off the web and low and behold I can now read all the files
Firmware:
"instructions and data programmed into the circuits responsible for controlling the operation of peripheral devices"
This is a good place to go if you have an NEC drive:
<a href="http://www.herrie.org/">www.herrie.org/</a>
To find out what kind of drive you've got you need to browse it via your "Device Manager" in Windows.
Then do a Google search along the lines of:
NEC 2510 + firmware
If your going to do this make sure you make a backup copy of the current firmware.

Also nice to see my car on the cover of the DVD

Justin - just tried and I'm afraid it dosn't copy a single file (and I think even I am capable of this). Computer has DVD drive and CD-RW
Gassing Station | Noble | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff

- so computers might just take a back seat for a day or so!!)Had a look at the pics on your site and they are excellent; so definitely will be following up.
