Are these fairly easy to fix?
I can't be bothered going all the way to my dealer only for them not to fix it again (yes three attempts).
I'm doing the speakers at the weekend anyway so I thought I would have a go if I could.
The leaks are coming from the front edge of the window where it disappears into the black triangular area.
I really need to sort this as the carpet are starting to smell.
Ta in advance.
I know where you mean and it is a common area for leakage. One solution is to create greater pressure between the 2 surfaces where the leak is by building-up with something suitable (gaffer tape?) behind the rubber seal on the pillar (if you see what I mean). Otherwise ring the factory and get a proper reply!

Without piccies it's hard to think what's wrong?
Where is it getting past - the "squishy" rubber seal attached to the car body or the door itself?

The water is coming in just above the door mirror "control" handle.
My dealer has "played" around with my doors that much that the drivers one doesn't close without a good go - it catches every time.
The passenger one is rubbing against the bottom corner below the mountings. I suspect because the door has dropped that it might be the cause of the problem.
I had a better look at this and it would appear that the passenger door has definately dropped significantly enough to cause the problem.
I shall be dropping it into the dealer for a look soon.
I don't want to get my new speakers wet - when I took the original Sony's out I noticed water marks on them.
