Click link. (edited to say, you have to copy and paste as I can't get it to hyperlink it all, sorry) These are my shots from the Northants run.

Still trying to decide weather to get the afterburners (booked in already for next Thursday) or to get these lights re-done with an airbrush and leave the reversing (white) bit clear.

Thinking on the side of the afterburners but its £615 (inc vat and fitting)

Well, I think it looks O.K but not great - sorry. To have them redone and leave the reversing part clear would look a bit odd IMHO. It's entirely your choice (not to mention money!!). Do you feel a bit conspicuous with them like that? If you do, it might (and I stress MIGHT) be an idea to change them!

Just my thoughts....

You have to change the "'" to be a "%27" otherwise it breaks Ted's auto-spot-a-url-and-turn-it-into-a-link code.

Conspicuous? In a Noble with "55 GN" on the plate, I suspect the lights are probably not high on the conspicuosity table!

I only feel conspicuous when I am wearing my secret agent disguise and fake moustach and raybans!!

I hate attention.

Would have bought a Ferrari if I wanted to get noticed.

I am trying to make my car feel happier, the standard tail lights resemble what the back end of an african Monkey on heat looks like.

There as a pic of this last year and it looked the best of several options. It didn't involve blackening the rest, just tinting them red slightly so that the indicators blended in with the rear lights. Lots of modern cars have lights like this stock.

IMHO (which is often the exact opposite of the majority) is that they a vast improvement over stock. My only question would be "How well do they work, and would they pass an MOT?"

What I want to know is, who are those nutters standing on the bend as three sports cars hurtle past?

Martin, they do NOT really work very well in daylight, no. And I doubt very much they would pass an MOT. It was really a test, as I already had the car booked in for afterburners. I was seeing if I could save myself ^15 squids. I think not, any amount of tinting will look rough next to afterburners IMO.

Jipsom, that nutter was not standing there as 3 sportscars wizzes past, they were there to see over 50 shoot past!!!

What a great day.

It sounds as though you have already convinced yourself that you don't like them and want rid..... To be honest, whichever way you look at it, tinting your lights is rather trivial (to me anyway) when you have a car of such AWESOME abilities to drive around in....FOR FUN!! You lucky, lucky.......

Booked in at Vegantune for Thursday.

Booked in at the factory for Monday/Tuesday to have the filters moved to the "correct" place and the brakes fixed. (noise when stopping hard) and to have a pump up lumbar fitted to my seat.

Roll on next weekend, will all be sorted by then and I will be a man.

ps. The factory are giving me a rover 600 for 2 days. Cant wait. Bob thought it funny that I expected an M400 and very funny when I asked about a test drive in the M14

Greg, hope they have sorted the rover.... When i had it for 2 days none of the windows would open.....
I think they do it on purpose so when you get your car back if is such a huge difference.
