I have an M12 GTO3. When I start the car, 5 seconds later I have 3 consecutive bleeps. I can only assume this is something to do with engine management or immobiliser. But now I am getting intermittent bleeping while I am driving. This is not good. And very annoying. It has nothing to do with the stereo. Can someone shed some light on this ?

Thanks in advance Andy

How about resetting the alarm to its default state - details should be in the booklet that came with the car.

Also note that the only other alarm in the car (apart from the radio/cd "front plate-is-still-on" alert) is the lights-on alert beeper.

Have you got a tracker on it? If so have you got the card on you, or in the car?

Yes I do have a tracker, but it is not registered. You may have stumbled on something here. Can I just remove power to the tracker ? I know where it is in the car.
Do they have any influence on the car running ?

I don't want to go through the specifics of how the system works, but if it is a tracker that involves carrying a card, then its related. If this is the case, call the number on the card and have a chat with them. They are very helpful.
