What are the differences between the M400 and the 2004 M12GTO?

There are a fair few differnces - the main one being M400 having more power and a different suspension setup - more track biased.

+ added body colour-keyed side pods, black coloured wheels, door-mirror backs and rear wing, Sparco seats, oil temp/pressure gauge, different tyres (need more warming up before "playing", no front splitter (or sometimes a two part splitter) and harder brake pads...

...blinding performance by all accounts!

Other differences that I'm aware of include better dampers, stiffer springs, an antiroll bar, steering with more turns lock-to-lock and better feel, bigger turbos and more boost, water cooling for the turbos, different ECU map with max power at somewhat higher revs, slightly narrower tunnel, more centered seats which are much more comfortable, an oil cooler, and a larger sump for track use. The gearbox also used to be better in the M400, but I think new 3Rs now have the same one.
