Noise limits - problems anyone?

Has anyone had problems at TDs with their standard M12 being too noisy? The worst I've had recorded on the M400 was 99 dB static (measured 0.5m from exhaust and 0.5m to the side at 4500 rpm).

The reason I'm asking is that I'm going to Donnington on Saturday and it's a long drive just to get turned away!

Did Donny on a GT03 with no problems couple of months back.

The baffles do get blown out over time though increasing the volume, and I guess the m400 may be noisier anyway. Donny don't seem to bother with a static test anyway, and instead have dynamic meters spaced around the track.

I'm sure I've read before that it's louder when cold and settles a bit when warm.

Done Donnington a couple of times, and not had a problem. In fact, having lent someone a "drive", and heard the 3R go past, it was one of the less noisy rides of the day - you should be fine.

Richard -so long as baffles havn't gone, you won't have any problems. Brilliant circuit - you'll love it.I'm back there on June 24th (probably having my ass kicked by PC)
