Anyone else having trouble accessing the Noble site? I get a:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access / on this server.

It is http://www.noblecars.com/ isn't it? Possible config error then ...

Hi,

I clicked on the link and it worked OK. Perhaps a temporary problem?

Yup

Not working.

for those that do I suggest "ctrl" and "f5". I suspect you are seeing a cached version.

How strange! Just tried again, same problem. I use Firefox, so tried in IE6. Same problem.

Just tried again on a different PC and it's gone straight in ...

Both are on the same router and I've never had this problem before; clearly not a Noble problem, so apologies for raising it.

Ash, that's what I initially thought. But the PC that can access the site is a fairly new XP installation that I'm certain has never accessed the Noble site (it's just a CCTV server). I've also just downloaded the 3R brochure pdf, which I can't access on other computers, even if I put the exact same address in.

Just tried again on the main server and that's receiving the Forbidden message also.

Something funky going on ...

Noble's website moved server recently due to issues with the previous company that was hosting it.

As part of that process the "DNS" has to change. That should all have happened by now, but it will 100% be done by tomorrow morning.

The "Forbidden" is the old server, but it's now on a high performance (quick plug) Easynet server which should mean it doesn't have any further issues.

Damn,

Thought they were gonna update and include in the website that they have an Aberdeen service bay that I could use!

Yep, can now access it and is very fast today. Thanks for that.
