Just got back. My aircon isn't working, but not sure if it was before we set off. Had to put ice on the gear lever, and handbrake before we could leave on sunday afternoon.Oh and the wipers started to park in the wrong place, but easily fixed with a 10mm spanner and some loctite. How many of us went?

I saw a blue 3R in Arnage on Friday, and got a glimps of a blue car behind the main stand (Dan?). I know Micknall was there, and have also heard of a "silver" car having a bit of a moment avoiding a central island after passing a couple of Blackbirds on the way down.

I was there in mine, although I left it at Goodlife's place (~35 mins outside Le Mans) as we all went down in the single car.

Had a great trip back and saw an Azure blue one at a roundabout after Rouen, saw a silver one in Houx and a red one out and about.

As for any problems - none. See www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=26&t=187461

I was parked in parking white which is opposite the ford chicane roughly. Had the viper stripes on so you'd have seen me if you saw me

Only noble I saw was a silver 2.5, which might be the one that was seen doing doughnuts and may have had an accident recently going by the other thread

1st time with no problems.....probably as have sold the TVR's

Only issue is some heat protection material hanging down at the rear between the exhausts. (What is best to stick it back on with ?)

The red car was probably us. We rented a house near Alencon, so did a fair bit of driving about. Were at Indi late Friday, and Arnage after, then parked in Parking rouge sat and sunday. Forgot to say that almost every French person stopped and waved, or took pictures of the car with camera phones.

Must have just missed you. It was a real laugh down there into the night. Particularly when the guy mooned the oncoming car.....which lit up its blue lights and siren

No it certainly isn't. But just goes to show that TVR still have work to do on reliability. Just looking at some of the related Le Mans topics proves the point. Good luck to them. But of course it shouldn't be down to luck.

If I have current criticism of my 3R then it is .. A more effective air con unit should be used.
