See today's Autocar, page 57, if you're considering an M400 purchase...

Simon,

Could you summarize what it says since we don't get that here in the US?

Thanks

Hi Dean,

I'm sure that someone branier than me will find a way of pasting the text on to these pages (I can't be seen to do this anyway, due to copyright laws).

Chris has devoted his column exclusively to the M400 in this week's Autocar. He kicks off by saying that, with the exception of his own cars, he's driven the M400 on more occasions than any other test car during 2005. He then describes each of the experiences he's had with the car, making very positive references to its performance, handling, durability and attention-grabbing looks.

He sums up by saying that there's '..no car like it' and talks about the time he diced with pop star Jay Kay in his Enzo last year.

Last line: 'I'm smitten by the looks, the noise, the size. The way it hurts your kidneys in second gear. Do us a deal, Lee. Please.'

Me too! Awesome car, sadly beyond my means but still stands as the best handling car I've ever driven....

Yep - Chris drove it on Friday and to say he was "stunned" by the way it drove when he was chatting to Simon (I was right behind him - he didn't say 'oh hi J' though - git ) would be the undergushing statement of the year.

Dom,

Angus Fitton, Staff Writer for Car, and Chris Harris drove the car on Friday. I drove it on Saturday and Andy Green - the LSR holder - made his third successive appearance at the FOS in a Noble on Sunday.
