Have been chatting in the pohtography bit but through extensive searching I have found this little beauty that should be great for filming trackdays and other adventures as you get a bullet cam that has a couple of mounts.

Very cool IMO, but its not available in the UK yet!!

DOH.

Cool! I wonder if you could just purchase the remote lens and fit it to an existing camera?

You can most certinly buy bullet cams and fit them wherever you like.

You just need a DV or AV input on your cam. Not many have this input though!

(not sure what the difference is between DV and AV)

any ideas?

Bullet cams will be AV.

DV is a digital interface and a way of getting the data off/on the tape.

Greg, I was also looking at those Samsungs recently. No bigger than a playing card so can just stick in your breat pocket while wearing the bullet cam on your noggin.

See here: www.i4u.com/article3182.html

A similar Samsung miniket model (same size) has higher spec so may better looking out for that.

Meanwhile, Hague are good for normal cam mounts.

AL, that link leads to the same camera!! They call it by a different code in the US.

Think I will be going that way as its so robust and small and the bullet cam is perfect to fit onto the car or my snowboard helmet etc!!

Alternativly I liked these vacume mounts.

Will prob just use the bullet cam taped onto the suction mount I got with my tomtom go!!

The mounts from b-hague are excellent. I used the Manfroto one that clamps to the roll bar at Donnington, and on the way to Le Mans. It is rock steady, and very very good quality. Just need to edit 3 hrs of video now..

I take it you need image stabaliser to make the picture look steady?

Are the electronic image stabalisers on the cameras above going to do the trick??

This seems to be a pretty good mount/mounts as well.

Not really - remember that you will bolt it to the car chassis/rollbar/bodywork, and as such the car interior / exterior won't move relative to the picture, and hence it will look "steady".

Also, with vibration reduction turned on you look slower!

Maybe in a CSL, but I am sure you would still resemble a speeding bullet in a Noble
