As I have been a regular PH reader for the last year it is about time I posted as I will no doubt meet up with many of you at Silverstone in September.

As my Azure GTO 3 did not have the track day sump fitted I need to confirm it is Ok for me to attend. But then this is a parade not a track event.

My son by the way is "LaurenceFrost" who is a regular contributor to this Forum.

Lyn,

Yes, you're fine to use your car in this parade, which will be run at a very civilised pace.

Lyn, I would like to set up a meeting between you and my mother. I wonder if you could talk to her about car choice!

She just bought a muddy green Toyota Avensis. And it's got green seats too.

Is it possible to dis-own parents??

My mum just bought her 1st convertible...a brand new Audi A4 cabriolet...not bad for a grandmother in her 60's eh...no chance of any disowning here!

(and to equal that, my mother-in-law (also 60's), is also considering her 1st convertible...this time a little Ka...my mothers both want to keep cooooool.)

My mother is 76 and we only parted her from her Lotus Excel last year!

Not really... you see, Simon took her for a spin round Brunters in an M400 when I was looking to buy mine and she asked him 'not to go too fast'
