Just wondering as 24K service looms, that exactly it entails. Read through the manual expecting full details to be listed (& expecting it to be cam belt change etc etc etc), but there's no info whatsoever.
Anyone know then what each service entails & if I'm looking at a real biggie?
Also, is it fixed price servicing or is it possible to shop around between dealers and/or factory (none are particularly close but I have 3 or 4 options inc Leicester)?
I should add that whatever it costs is OK as I went into this expecting high(ish) service costs but if prices do vary then it makes sense to shop round, if not then it's simply a case of closest vs factory (for the interest factor alone).

Re: service costs; there seems to be parity amongst the dealerships but I seem to recall Vegantune being a little lower cost overall on their fixed price (I may be incorrect of course!).

No-bull,

If you'd like the factory to carry out a service on your car, the cost is £895.00 + VAT (it's the most comprehensive we perform).

FYI, the Noble's engine uses cam chains, not belts, and this item will not require replacing.

Please call Mandy at Noble on 01455 844 052 if you want to book your car in with us.

Thanks Simon, when the time arrives I'll be in touch (It's mileage dependant rather than time!).
Interesting to note the cam belt thing, wonder where you can get that sort of info without pestering the factory every 5 minutes? Is there a Noble factsheet or anything?

Look in the hole where you fill it with oil and you can see the chains

I picked a link from this site for PlansMotorsport.com on Dunsfold Airfield where they film Top Gear. They have looked after my M12 this year and done a good job at reasonable rates. Nice guys too.

Please be aware that Plans Motorsport is NOT a Noble-authorised service centre.

But they are half the price and do a very good job, warrenty is not affected by getting the work done there, however resale value might be if you don't have the normal authorised Noble stamps for service work. I'd recommend them for ad hoc work and upgrades etc but due to resale still I'd say to use an authorised dealer for any work that needs a stamp in the book.
