Two large bags behind the seats (they are about the height of the rear bulkhead and sit in the "well" at the rear)
Two rectangular bags go behind each seat on the parcel shelf.
Two identical rectangular bags that fit underneath your knees of the car floor in the "well" made by the chassis memebers.
I use the ones behind the headrests a lot, the big ones for long trips, and never needed the ones underneath my knees.

I also use just the two large bags and two on the parcel shelf. though there are clips supplied, I don't fancy cluttering up the footwell area.
I use the two on the parcel shelf a lot, the two big ones behind the seat occasionally and the other two end up being stuffed behind the seat as I'd rather keep the footwell area clear.
I haven't come up with a good solution for storing a helmet though; it usually ends up in a bag in the passenger footwell.

There's a nice big flat area behind the rear window.
At least, that's where my girlfriend suggested we strap the shopping. 'Think it might be ready to eat when we get in, luv.'
You'll want this guide then:- www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0375751408/104-7660298-0500713?v=glance
Hi Paul,
You'd be suprised how much you can fit into the expandable bags we supply as an option. Obviously this will vary from person to person, but it should provide you with enough packaging for two of you to escape for four to five days.
By the way, the price you mentioned is for the leather bags.

It all depends who you are taking. She who must be obeyed usually manages to fill the A6 Avant for a short weekend break !
All these things are POSSIBLE. Look in the Guinness Book Of Records and you will find a lot of other things which are demonstrably POSSIBLE. But not necessarilly advisable, comfortable or enjoyable. It's a car for having a bit of fun - not a utilitarian vehicle for transporting crap. Forget the luggage pack and go in something else. It's not an every day vehicle. If it was, the bloke who's name's on it would drive one every day. (Stand back while the 'it's-my-only-car-and-I-run-a-haulage-business-with-it' brigade shoot me down in flames.)

Well you're going to to get well bored with the A6 after driving the M12 (I should know I've got both). For short breaks for two the Noble is just great - just encourage her to pack economically!
I'm still not sure how to elegantly pack 2 helmets though ...

Get open faced ones, and the they sit quite happily behind the seats on the parcel shelf, facing forward with the top of the seat snuggled inside IUSWIM.

Tried that - but
a) I don't want followers to see the helmet in the car
b) lashing the helmet to the seat to stop it becoming a projectile under heavy breaking is a PITA,
But agreed it's the best solution providing you've can put up with (a) and (b) and you're using an open face jobbie.

b) All I do is just pull the seats forwards, then put the helmet in, then push the seat backwards. The helmet then gets wedged in and it can't go anywhere.
Works a treat!

I bought the luggage with my Noble and I'm very glad I did too.
I used to use my Noble for my business trips to France (M4 + chunnel + N1 in a Noble is faster than M4 + plane + taxi !) and I could pack for a couple of weeks and have all of it nicely packed away in the car. Loverly :-)
I've since had the ECU relocated behind the driver and the Battery is now behind the passenger seat, so the big bags are not going to fit any more. Might have to have them adjusted.....

Ok maybe I'm just not trying hard enough (as usual)
BTW: let's make it crystal clear that it if had even less luggage space I'd still be a happy smug soandso
