Need some help here peeps.

Me and the missu are in the market for a M12 3R. The problem we've got is with seat positioning. The missus is 4" 11' with 26" legs, so technically she is a sort arse.

While we both love the car, the critical factor on a purchase is the seat adjustments, so that Mrs Short Arse can "tilt/pivot" the seat forwards, so that she feels more comfortable driving it.

Is there a seat available that can be retro fitted to the 3R than moves forwards, tilts/pivots even possibly lifts slightly??

Help very much appreciated, this info will either mean a purchase or a TVR :o(

Understand that seat can be moved forward - know others have had this done. Also Noble factory can order up booster cushion which raises you on seat - we have one even for my wife as passenger.

My Girlfriend is 5' 2", and couldn't reach the pedals. Factory redrilled the chassis and moved the seat forward.
Personally I don't understand why they are not positioned further forward by default as they still go all the way back for when I drive, but when it is forward it gives much better access to te luggage bags.

Recently, I was at a local dealer, and was shown a nice M400 in Viper Grey.....the bollox of course.....and IICR the seat tilted forward on that. But I am aware that the seats on the M400 area bit wider (and more comfy) given that the centre gear box structure is narrower.

If we can find a solution to this problem then we will be getting a Noble AS....AFP!!!

Yep,

Same problems here on my 3R and M400. The dealer can easily move the seat forward and the factory will supply a bolster cushion and even a back rest cusion for the "little people"

They do tilt on the M400 but it's an allen key job to make the adjustment, so unless you are both using the same seat position it'll be inconvenient. I'd ask the factory about bolster cusions.

Are you sure thats wise?

Just kidding, the last lucky lady that had the pleasure of being my broad was only 5' tall. (and size 6) (and over 18 ) and she had trouble getting to the pedals, not that I let her drive it of course! But a cushion would have made it all ok.

Lucky I couldn't find one anywhere!

Blimey, did you have to deflate her and store her behind the seat every time you parked-up then?!
