Hi everyone,
I have a gto-3 and the heater fan has stopped working. The blower does not work on either standard or recirc regardless of what fan speed I select. I have checked fuses and relay at passenger foot panel. I have a feed from the dash switch up to plug next to fan motor under bonnet indicating all three speeds should be working so I have isolated to the motor. The panelling, etc is rivoted and siliconed. Is there another fuse inside. Is it a big job and does anybody have any ideas. It was working fine when I switched the ignition on, I turned the blower off and ever since it will not blow. That sucks!

When you turn it to the right and press, does the light for the aircon come on? if not, that suggests an electrical problem. If the light does come on, maybe it is mechanical eg a faulty switch?

Yes the a/c light does come on and the magnet engages. The switch is working because I checked at the plug with an electrician. It looks like I will have to take the motor out.

Sounds about right, unless there is a physical obstruction in there somewhere.

A stone somehow got into mine and stopped the fans turning around.

Mole Valley fixed it in 30 mins as for £50.

I had this recently. The motor was burnt out on the fan.

Thank you everybody for your replies. Next step to remove all the covering under bonnet. Thanks
