Some people have said on here that they have car number whatever. How do you know that is there somethng on the VIN plate that tells you what build number the car is ?

On my 2 Nobles, the dealer had an envelpoe with the build number on it from Noble. The envelope had the 2nd set of keys.

Micknall at Noble would be able to tell you.

My M400 has a build number with an "R" in front of it, as did my old 3R.

I think the Chassis numbers go something like SA.....Rxxx where Rxxx is the build number.

I believe there is a disc with the number stamped on it somewhere around the hinges of the passenger door.

(disclaimer: that may be utter crap !)

I think the chassis number's on a plate under the rear clam on the left side.

Check out your V5 for the chassis number, the last few numbers are your build number. On mine it is R198.

Martin.

There are discs located in the door jamb forwards of the door hinges with the type and build number stamped on them.

Had a look think it may be 12 which are the last two digits. I don't have an "R" cos its just a GTO but the last 3 numbers are 012.

Anyone got 1 - 11 ?

Didn't build #1 end up in a South African field after a high-speed munch - or was that # -1 ?!

I thought I recognised the car....??? I'm sure that was first owned by a lady who put it up for sale on PH many years ago???

If so that was one of the very first cars made.

No P1 International was the first owner but looks like it was one of the early ones
