In case anyone in the parade is thinking of bringing a younger child as a passenger during the parade on Saturday, please read below:

The MSA and Silverstone's Safety Officer state that children can be taken as passengers in the Noble pre-race parade, providing they can be safely secured in the passenger seat without the use of either a booster or child seat. It is also important that when they are wearing their seat belts, the belt does not run across their windpipes because they're sitting too low in the seat.

I'm uncertain as to how rigidly marshalls will enforce this rule, so please do not take any risks if you think your child passenger is of borderline height.

There goes my back up plan for Saturday then! Was thinking of taking my daughter out for the day.

You can buy a kiddy seat strap in Halfords that links the lap belt to the shoulder strap and makes the triangle more acute.

Thanks Greg but she is only two years old! It's a shame really because she loves drives in the Noble.
