Sorry for opening up a new thread but didn't want this buried...

Simon, perhaps you could confirm the following checklist for tomorrow:

1. Driving licence (both parts)
2. Britcar Entry ticket
3. Completed Britcar entry form
4. Parade car pass
5. HELMET NOT REQUIRED

Oh, and preferably one shiny Nobilus M-series unit (Classicus or Modern)! :D

Where can I get the 'Britcar entry form' anyone? Don't recall seeing such a thing with the tickets

Dom - should have been with the letter and tickets. I wouldn't worry too much - bound to have the forms at registration point.

Richard - is that the stuff from Halfords that goes in the washer- bottle? Or is something applied direct to screen?

I've got something called Rain-X (pink liquid from Halfords) but it's designed to be used in the washer bottle. Seeing as the washer bottle just empties itself over the left hand side of the car when I go round roundabouts I now have a nice water repellent wing, which ain't much use! Non-return valves havn't remedied this either.
So where do you get the clothe applied stuff from?

Halfords usually have it - it comes in a yellow bottle looking like this - www.reviewcentre.com/reviews59966.html

If you haven't yet got the Bosch wipers (one 19" and one 20" then they're around 7 quid each or thereabouts and much better than the stock ones.

Sorry I cannot make it to Britcar. I am in the middle of our new product launch roadshow travelling around the country.

I hope you guys will take my support with you over the weekend.

Good luck to Lee and the team. Plenty of Red Bull, Carol on the Tea's and coffees etc.

I look forward to meeting up in October at Rockingham.

Cheers,
Ian.

Re: Rain-X

Yellow bottle on the clean windscreen and the pink bottle in the washer ... makes it a gem to drive in the rain without the wipers on
