Noble in Ireland

Anyone aware of any Noble owners in Ireland - North or South.

Wondering about servicing......hankering after a Noble (as only car!!) weekend use mainly. I am not relishing the prospect of traveling to Wales every 6000 miles for a service!

Choosing between porsche and noble.....head says porsche every time (currently have a Boxster) heart and LeMans trip leading me to a noble test drive.

Living in Dublin and have a Noble from new since April last year. Got 2 services done in factory UK after track days in uk.

Few little niggles that my Dublin mechanic sorted with help from Bob in the factory.

Overall its not a problem and the thrills are worth it.

Would be great to see another Noble in the country.

I had heard an English reg. noble was spotted in Dublin!! How do you find it on Irish roads? Any problems? Have you had a blast on the Kildare by-pass yet?

I presume it gets some attention in Dublin.

Irish roads great. Yeah occasionally a bit bumpy on the mad pot hole back roads but once again the highs outweigh the bumps by a million to one.

Have you test driven one yet?

I VRT'd it and now it is my everyday car and I look forward to my drive to work every morning. Have been on all by passes and hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ! Also had it down at Mondello and Silverstone and thats where the real fun is.

Attention. Well at first it was like being Jim Carey in the Truman show but now I dont even notice.

I'd hopefully be returning it VRT free. I hear the Revenue have cracked down in a big way.

Going to arrange a test drive with Noble London. It really is a case of heart ruling head as not sure there would be much resale value at home. It would be a pretty exclusive club with just 2 members!

I keep thinking that at 28 I should not be worrying about resale and servicing! What is the insurance situation like? When I left I was paying €2,100 TPFT on a Saab barge!! Getting quotes now of €1,900 FC for a 911 in Dublin so Noble insurance should be a bargain relative to TPFT on a Saab.

Avoiding VRT is now impossible and not worth the worry.

DOnt worry about head and heart. Thought I was finished with performance cars two years ago until I was in the Brirmingham area looking at some software for work, while at the demo and being bored out of my head I remembered that the Noble factory was near by. I excused myself and left my technical manager to finish demo while I went down to Barwell and a spin factory car.

Bought the software and also the Noble. Never looked back.
