From Yahoo! news page

Presenter Chris Evans seemed to see the funny side of crashing his £120,000 sports car into a ditch.

The DJ ploughed his silver Ferrari 550 Maranello into a verge near his Surrey home, the Mirror newspaper reported.

Evans laughed and smiled as the car was recovered - minus its front bumper.

An onlooker said: "Chris didn't seem too stressed.

"He didn't look worried at all.

"I couldn't believe it.

"Most of us would be gutted if we'd caused that much damage to such an expensive car, but he seemed totally happy."

Evans has signed a seven-month contract to present the Saturday afternoon slot on Radio 2.

The broadcaster disappeared from the limelight after being sacked as Virgin Radio's breakfast host in 2001.

Ferrari's 550 Maranello is a 12 cylinder, 485bhp supercar capable of almost 200mph.

Typical media nonsense

I suspect they're reading a little too much into it. I've laughed and joked with breakdown crews before. It doesn't mean I'm happy with the situation, just that I'd rather laugh than cry in certain situations.

It's not the first time he has stacked a FIAT, sorry ferrari.

He knocked a corner of a 355 a few years ago on the way to the british GP, and I'm sure he'll do it again.

At least he stayed at the schene, did'nt prince naseem run off when he stacked his SL ?

If he's stuffed a Donkey twice he might learn his lesson and get a car that goes 'round corners.

Martin.

Leave off Martin, I don't want the ginger tt driving a Noble around - poor advertising message for the marque in general! Really he should be in a bright yellow Hummer H2 - nuff said!

PS - that was cool I wrote "twat" earlier and Ted's swearcensor mole censored it automatically - I didn't know that "twat" was a swear word (wots' one ov em then?!)?!
