My car got caught in the downpour (well, I didn't cover it). Since then, the alarm has gone silent. The doors still lcok and unlock; the indictors still wink their status. But there's no satisfying beep.
I'm not really sure what to look for. Any ideas?

I would check iof the alarm still sounds.

Alarm the car, wait for 60 seconds for the alarm to switch on, and then undo the rear clam with the four screws.

Upon lifting the clam the alarm should sound.

If this happens then there is nothing wrong with the siren, but if you just get flashing hazards then you know the siren is broken.

If the siren is ok then look in your alam instructions. In there it will tell you how to turn the locking warning tones again.
