Bodyshop / wheel refurbisher SW/London area?
Discussion
I know these have been covered before (so what hasn't :D !)but can anyone recommend a good body shop that knows Noble's (preferably factory approved) and cares about its craft in the SW London area?! Has anyone used the Mole Valley recommended body shop at all (can't remember their name)?
Also, same for a wheel refurbisher - maybe one that comes to you?

Rob you should use Spit and Polish for the wheels. I used them for my Evo and I am thrilled with the work.
My wheels were so bad that the lacquer was actually chipping off the wheel surface and exposing corroding metal underneath. They were so bad they looked better dirty and so I never cleaned them.
Spit and Polish stripped the tyres, acid dipped and rust treated the bare metal, re-lacquered and painted with several layers, moved the wheel balance weights to the inside of the rim, re-fitted the tyres, and fitted new valves.
All this came to £200 collected and delivered from Croydon for all 4 wheels (17 inch). It took 3 days to complete the work - and would my Mum lend me her Noble to get around in? Not a chance!!!
Here you can actually see bare metal, and the uneven metal the garage who sold me the car added to disguise the health of the wheels:
Bye bye wheels - see you in 3 days:
Wheels back on and looking quite different:
Overall I'm very happy with them. In fact I caught one on a kerb the other day and cannot even see where it scraped so they paint must be quite thick.
Just need some OZ wheel stickers now.
I hope this helps.

Ring John Foy at Kingscourt Coachworks, Chessington. on 0208 391 2575. He does the majority of work for Mole Valley, I know he's repaired at least 1 PHer's car and I'm not aware of any post repair issues.
We've also referred our clients to him for repair work.
Last time I visited he'd just repaired an M400, it looked pukka.

Your tyre is rotating the wrong way
Thanks I noticed this after the ABS kicking in during totally dry conditions at about 40mph under medium braking.
Knew something was wrong. My Dad re-fitted the wheels whilst I was on holiday and it didn't even cross my mind to check.
The back ones were wrong too.
