Who should I use for an MOT test?

Well, the GTO-3 will have its third birthday in January and I am thinking of getting the MOT test out of the way before Xmas. Anyone any suggestions or previous experience of having a Noble MOT'd in the Kent area? I know the test is to a set standard, but would prefer it to be carried out by an outfit that had done one on a Noble before. Better still if there is an approved dealership that does testing, 'cos inevitably any remedial work will need doing there and I can get the annual service sorted too.

Newtown do, but that's a long way from Kent.

I am 99% sure that Kerridges do and they are west of Ipswich, so just a day out from Kent.

Yes, I will do that. Still would like a Noble-savvy tester though.

The guys at Kerridges are well upto speed .. Dave Foster and team are very helpful. (even to the point of fixing minor things on the spot FOC depsite the car being out of warranty) (they did supply tho)

Sure, but are they an MOT Test Centre?

My local village garage...Clarke's of Groombridge (Yes, that is in Kent, well by postcode at least...just west of Tunbridge wells)...did mine around April time...it failed on emissions first time out, but after a warm up it sailed through (take it for a 10 min drive before the test!)

Yup, as I said, 99% sure. Ther are/were a full Rover dealership as well as TVR and Noble dealers so I would think they are capable of doing an MOT.

That depends .. some options:

1) Go to the dry ski slope and play

2) Err...............

Ask to borrow their clapped out Rover 600 (same as the Nob factory one).

I usually go and do a bit of work in that or go into ipswich or stowmarket.

Norwich and Cambridge are in easy striking distance as well if you get the trusty rover out, or get Stephen to take you for a test drive in their M400 :-)
