"squeak squeak" for behind the drivers seat

I've got a undiagnosed "squeak sqeak" sound which occurs in time with the suspension movement on a moderately bumpy road. I can even get it to squeak when I roll it slowly it over the concrete lip on the way into my garage. The "sqeak" sounds like polystyrene being rubbed against something.
I've also got a couple of paint chips where the rear clam joins the bulkhead. It's not the exhaust bracket making the squeak as I've checked it. Can the rear clam get out of adjustment?
Has anyone got clues or simple checks that I can make before taking it back to the dealer, as I'm very short on spare time at the moment?
ps. It's driving me mad as I'm not used to squeaks or rattles in a Noble!

Don't start me on squeaks!
It's a process of elimination I'm afraid and most likely due to a lazy South African (sorry SA!). I speak from experience!
For starters it could be the...
- seat fitting loose
- clam moving (only thing to do is remove it and then drive the car & no I don't think there's any adjustment!)
- seat-belt fittings
- floor panel come loose
Unfortunately, there can be soooo many causes!
Many here will say ignore it - I know I couldn't!

I had a severe rattle on mine and Peter at Kerridges spant the best part of 2 days trying to find it. The clam was rattling a bit. Check by closing it with bits of hard foam or rubber in the gap and see if it still does it. Sorry Rob, but there are ways of adjusting its sit, I think its more to do with the fasteners than the pivot points.
In the end on mine it was a big screw bolt theat ties the body onto the chassis somewhere that was the culprit. I never thought the sound sounded like what it actually was. Give peter a call and ask him what mine was so as you can ckeck that first!

I've got a few irritating squeaks in mine too - sounds like the seat area mainly.
Does anyone else hate holding the plastic on the steering wheel? It's just wrong to me and cheap. Alternative offerings from the factory would be appreciated. I'd probably have a full suede one as they give the best feel IMO. That or leather......but no plastic.

I have a squeak which sounds the same, and is from the lower wishbone rubber-bush-thing. It comes and goes, and will be sorted on my next service visit.
I also thought it was coming from directly behind the seat, but moving the suspension with the clam up and my head down fingered the culprit.

Any Sparco or momo wheel will bolt on, I changed to a sparco suede one on a removeable boss, made it much nicer the use.

Havn't got any squeaks to speak of but 6000 mile service turned up a worn suspension bush which needed replacing (thanks NL). May be worth checking these if your noises coincide with suspension movements??
It's great, 11k miles in under 7 months including 4 European trips covering 3x Spa and 3x 'ring, 2 x Bedford and Donington. Service costs so far: £180.00 + brake pads and tyres, cannot argue really
Put the AP 6 pots on and cooling with some GT3 RS wishbone mounted brake ducts, they stand up to abuse very well now

Can you get away with that without an oil and filter change?

the £180 was the oil and filter change, might do one again soon as the next service isn't due for another 6k miles.
Only shame is I can't see the condition of the oil as there is no normal dipstick on the CSL, only a computer to tell you how much oil you have and an emergancy dipstick which cannot be reached without removing the airbox.

Point taken about turbos necessitating more frequent oil changes ... I'll continue with the frequent oil changes.

A quick check this morning revealed that it's something to do with the nearside rear suspension so it's booked in with the dealer next week and should be all ready in time for the Owners day on Friday.
