Probably been asked a lot of times before, but I am seriously thinking of a change, currently own a BMW ZMCOUPE, the newer model, quite rare, only 168 made, but I have always fancied a noble, will have approx 30k to spend, depending on what sort of price I get for the BMW, so what I need to know is what should I be looking at getting for this sort of money. Also what to look out for, any pitfalls or known problems with these cars, I am arranging a test drive for the weekend, so I suppose that's the first step, but I would appreciate any advice from you guys, thanx.

Steve.

hi steve , as allways the more you spend the better it gets i have driven all the models (m12) you wont be dissapointed with performance with any model but reliability is better the later model you get, went for 3r myself and dont regret it , little bit more than 30k at moment but residuals better (still current model)and is the best to drive on the road anyway ,in my opinion worth the extra for looks alone!,2.5 have ecu problems, 5sp gearbox not as strong as 6,lsd helps protect the box so is a good option!,track day sump is important only if you want to use it on track, servicing quit expensive just paid £850 for 12k service even though my car has only done 6k, but i have had this car 6 months and am usually fed up by now, have owned some pretty exotic cars in the past and this car is the best value car of its type imho hope this has been some help only my opinion obviously
