Warning they are large, so unless you are on a high speed broadband connection, it may be better to hit "stop" on the player and then click the download link [pic]http://www.nobletv.co.uk/res/actions/universal/download.gif[/pic]

Enjoy!

Windows media player 10.

Even the little "spin" clip in the online browser gets sound but no video. I clicked the arrow on that one and it opened up WMP but said there was a codec missing.

Most of the Nobtv clips have worked for me in the past.

Dear All,
Justin has very kndly loaded up a video from the Oulton park races.

It's available at

www.nobletv.co.uk/random/Paul%20C%20Oulton%20Park.wmv

and, in new "streaming" format

mms://www.nobletv.co.uk
/nobletv/random/Paul%20C%20Oulton%20Park.wmv

Open up windows media play, hit CTRL-U, and then copy and paste that
mms: text above and you can move around the file without downloading the whole thing.

I am afraid the first race is pretty boring, it was only my 3rd ever time on the circuit, first race in the wet, first race on wet tyres and I'd gone into the armco the day before! I have to hang my head low the Ferrari got away. The endurance race is much better (until it was red flagged).

The conversation at the beginning of the tape pretty much reveals the level of experience.

Where to find the interesting bits; at 10 minutes in is the start of the race. 25 minutes in I'm lapped by Gavin Kershaw to show just how fast the pros go. 31 minutes is the start of the endurance race and 34 minutes in is a shot of what the conditions were like at the end of the day.

The practice was taken with the camera mounted on the rear roll bar. The final shots with the camera tucked up beside the rear view mirror and a wide angle lens.

Regards
Paul C

Hi Paul

First time I've seen any rear footage of that idiot Sagatori punting me off at the Endurance race restart. Just a shame its obscured somewhat by the bright sunshine off the wet surface.
Good video though.

Despite looking at that video for hours at the weekend I failed to spot that. What's the time that happens?

Its near then end of the tape at the restart of the endurance race as we go thru the first right hander at Old Hall. You have to look carefully to spot it though.

The white Motorsport elise pushes me onto the grass on the outside of the bend and you can just see me start to lose it and come back across the track sideways!

first session is the practice for the endurance race. next session is the MESC race. Final session are the attempts to start and run the endurance race.

Overtaking rule in all of them is you overtake the bloke ahead - if you can.

I was driving like a wuss. After my horrendous year with fuel problems I wanted time on the track and I'd never been to Oulton before nor raced in the wet nor on wets etc.
