GT Purely Porsche have an article about taking GT3RS , M5 and M400 to the 'ring.

Well worth reading. It compares owning two cars, an M5 and M400 against GT3 RS as the total cost of the Porsche as driven was roughly equivalent to the sum of the costs of the other two.

Excellent comments on M400.

Hmm I don't remember the article, but have the mag.

These guys don't really get the 996RS though, you only have to read the comparison with the 964RS in the same issue.

We loaned the car to Chris Harris for this article. I haven't seen it yet, but there will be a second piece generated from this same test in BMW Driver magazine.

I expect that both will be written from a Porsche/BMW perspective, but my feeling was that it would be no bad thing to bring our brand to the attention of these guys, even if it didn't dominate the story.

I got around to reading it last night. It was very complimentary - he's clearly a fan.

In other forum in which I participate folks are kind enough to scan and post articles... which helps those of us across the pond that do not get serious motoring press. We most often get pap from house mouse J. Morgan

Sounds awesome: some of the 'sectional times' are considerably quicker than the porker's but having been in Joust's car, I am delighted to concede that you boys have the ultimate cornering device - by some margin!

Otherworldly.

I'm sure GT Purely Porsche will allow me just one indulgence from Chris's story:

"And what type of vehicle is required to make a 996 Turbo S feel as brisk as a Mondeo V6 around the Nordschleife? Yup, a Noble M400."

I could only find the December issue of this mag in WHS, but it's worth a read, whether you're Porsche- or Noble-inclined.

I thought it was the December issue. Has a 964 & 996 RS on the front cover.

So Simon when are we going to see an M400 do an official ring time? Money where mouth is etc!

Yeah, official ring time would be nice. Or perhaps that's being saved for the M14?!

The BM and Porche articles are identical - done

by the same outlet.
