They all do that Sir! Its water ingress into the spedo carrier that is situated inside the drivers side front wheel hub. Put full right hand lock on, lift front clam and you should see nearly in the centre of the wheel hub a 1cm dia 2cm long tube pointing toward a slotted circular metal disc. There will be a problem in there somewhere, usually happens if water gets down the tube. It is a hairdryer job, or as I did, a dealer fix. They will all know how to fix this problem.
Got mine fixed asap as the mile stop going on too!

When I go around corners (on track) the speedo suddenly drops to a lower speed (by 20 mph or so) and as I unwind the steering on the corner exit the speedo suddenly increases to what I'm guessing is the correct speed again.
So for example it's 80 mph into the corner, 80 mph on the exit and in between on constant throttle the speedo suddenly drops down to 60 mph.
It seems to happen mainly on right-hand corners.
Any ideas?

Unless I'm lifting the inside front as I'm going around them! Then again I'm probably not going quickly enough as usual

Very strange. Can't possibly thing what's causing that apart from the sensor moving as the hub loads up. You could try adjusting it so it's closer / further away from the toothed wheel.

Hmm, I'll take a look at it.
