Torque setting wanted.

Have looked on GTO3.com but not there. I need the correct torque for this sucker, it keeps working loose.

It's probably worn out - they do I've replaced two - get a new one, it's a ford part and about 4 ukp also make sure you use thread lock stuff too. As for the torque setting -F'ing tight - i.e. mine was done up with two of us at the end of a 4ft bar!

I put a brand new one on a couple of weeks ago (stood on the rachet to do it up) but the first real thrash up the mountain and I had a long pedal again!
Can't they be done up too tight though?

Err... it's defo not a wheel nut, and it doesn't look like a bearing, and they are the only torque settings there. Did you mean "Hub nut" when you wrote "Bearing"?...that would explain it

The wheel bearing one is the one you need, isn't there a bearing behind that hub nut?

I'm sure the collective will confirm it in the morning!

That is the main nut that holds everything into the bearing race.

If it's coming loose, get it replaced. Once they loosen off you won't get them to stay tight. Make sure you use locknut compound, preferably blue if you can get hold of it.
