It's a 39 foot Newmar Kountry Star with 3 slide outs and more room inside than my first flat. I bought it for the company last year, new unregistered in Orlando and shipped it back to the UK. Registered it, branded up and custom awning made. At the time saved around 55 - 60 K (£.

We use it for our Mountain Bike Race Team, Customer ride promotions and exhibitions. Great to drive.

Obes. Another suggestion for possible owners days would be a "Drive and Ride Day or Weekend". Pick a suitable location like North Wales, Peak district, Scottish Borders. Use the Motorhome as base, and we could offer our demo fleet of Mountain Bikes for organised rides around the trails in the area, and also enjoy some driving on some stunning roads. Just a thought?

Sometimes if I had to drive the rig back from an event and it was quite late, I would park up at home. It just fits on the drive including the trailer. Normally, it is stored in a warehouse close to our office.

How much does that truck cost to run? I asked the PCGB people about theirs and it was shocking how much it cost to move it around.

It's UVW is 11.5 ton with full fuel, water tank and waste you can add another ton. The license to drive it is quite an interesting one.

I have a regular driver who looks after the rig through the season with an HGV license. But there is a dispensation that states to the effect "If the vehicle is over 7.5 ton, is a promotion or exhibition vehicle, has less than 8 seats, the driver is over 21 years old and has held a full license for more than (?) 5 years, you can drive the vehicle on a normal full car license. This is how show and fairground people drive their huge trucks and rigs.

So I can drive the motorhome on a normal car licence. I aslo checked with the local traffic plod if this dispensation was OK and they confirmed it was. I know it's quite a grey area for drivers who have motorhomes over 7.5 ton that they use for mototsport.

I have driven it round 4,000 miles last year and it's great fun to drive. Yet to try a "Meet the Fockers" style handbrake turn yet...

I've yet to do a full MPG check, but to do a complete fill of diesel is around £320. (Nectar points anyone) and expect around 15 mpg. It is powered by a 7.5ltr Catapillar 330 BHP diesel engine (rear) with an Allison 6 speed auto gearbox.

I would be very up for that!! Have been thinking about getting into mouantain biking a lot recently as I live near Thetford forest thats supposed to be pretty good fun and have a good few friends that do it.

Lets do a drive/bike trip early next spring and you can sell me a bike!! As long as it fits in the Noble

Anyone else up for this? (Wales would seem like the best bet. Or northern France? Great fun!!
